Restorative Rest

Restorative Rest

Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra | 75 Minutes

What if, for just a little while, you didn't have to do anything at all?

No pushing. No striving. No trying to become a better version of yourself. Just a little space to slow down, soften, and be exactly as you are.

Restorative Rest is a 75-minute practice devoted to something we so often forget to make room for—rest.

We'll begin with 45 minutes of restorative yoga, settling into a handful of deeply supported postures using bolsters, blankets, blocks, and other props. Unlike practices that ask us to stretch farther, hold longer, or work harder, restorative yoga invites us to let the body be held. We'll spend several minutes in each shape, allowing ourselves time to settle, breathe, listen, and perhaps soften a little more.

From there, we'll make our way into 30 minutes of Savasana and guided Yoga Nidra, a practice of conscious rest that invites us to turn inward, explore the quieter layers of awareness, and experience stillness without needing to force it.

There is nothing to achieve here. Nothing to perfect. And certainly no expectation that you arrive already knowing how to relax.

Some days rest comes easily. Other days, simply allowing ourselves to be still can feel like the hardest thing in the world. All of that is welcome.

You don't need to be flexible. You don't need experience with yoga or meditation. And you don't need to leave whatever you're carrying at the door.

Come as you are.

Bring your tired body, your busy mind, your curiosity, or simply your desire for a little quiet.

Rest is not a reward for everything we've accomplished. It is part of what makes us human, and something we are worthy of simply because we exist.

Come settle in. Let yourself be supported. And perhaps, for these 75 minutes, remember what it feels like to simply rest.

All bodies, abilities, and experience levels are welcome.
